Paramount movies will be available for prices ranging from $9.99 to $19.99

America Online and Paramount Pictures Digital Entertainment have revealed the inking on a partnership that will result in the AOL Video portal delivering Downloadable movies and televisions shows from Paramount. This partnership is but the latest of a series of agreements - involving AOL and movie studios including 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group - that aims to boost AOL Video portal.

Paramount movies will be available for prices ranging from $9.99 to $19.99, but the videos are not restricted to the PC they are downloaded to, but can be transferred to other machines or to compatible portable devices.

"By adding content from Paramount Pictures, as well as several new branded video-on-demand channels, we continue our commitment to providing consumers with an all-in-one destination for finding and enjoying millions of free and pay-to-download videos," said Kevin Conroy, Executive Vice President of AOL. "The new partnerships we are announcing today bring even greater breadth, depth and variety to our ever-growing library of high quality, branded content."
