AOL Account of Billionaire John Doerr Hacked by Guccifer

Guccifer – the hacker known for breaching the accounts of the Bush family, Colin Powell, UN officials, former FBI agents and other public figures – has added another victim to his list. This time it’s John Doerr, an American venture capitalist at Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers (KPCB) and a member of Google’s board of directors.

According to The Smoking Gun, which has been closely following Guccifer’s stunts, the hacker broke into the billionaire’s AOL account and gained access to the contact details of several of Doerr’s associates and KPCB officials.

Doerr has not made any comments regarding the incident.

Before Doerr, the hacker broke into the email account of Sidney Blumenthal, a senior adviser of former President Bill Clinton.

After hacking the account, he started leaking a number of documents that Blumenthal had sent to Hilary Clinton, particularly ones focusing on the situation from Libya.
