It appears that, as one would have expected, the newest video cards form AMD have already found a home inside several gaming systems, and iBuyPower decided to add its name to the list of companies that offer such systems.

As consumers have probably already learned, Advanced Micro Devices recently released its newest batch of graphics cards.

The newcomers in question are the Radeon HD 6970 and HD 6950, currently the most powerful AMD 6000 series boards on sale.

Not long ago, some of CyberPower's gaming systems added the two boards to the available graphics cards options.

Now, iBuyPower has done something similar to its rival, to two PCs at least, them being the Gamer Mage D335 and Gamer Mage D345.

These two run either AMD Athlon II or AMD Phenom II central processing units.

Whichever CPU is selected as the workhorse will be backed by a solid amount of RAM, up to 16 GB to be precise, depending on user choice.

One can also add in up to four different storage devices, be they hard disk drives (HDDs) or solid state drives (SSDs).

Of course, those that are particularly performance-inclined can go for two video cards instead of just one.

That said, in order to cope with the power requirements of such high-end configurations, iBuyPower made sure to provide power supplies of up to 1,500W.

Needless to say, both systems come fully equipped with all the connectivity and I/O capabilities one may expect to find in such a setup (LAN, WiFi, USB, etc.).

Finally, the Gamer Mage D335 and Gamer Mage D345 are both pre-loaded with the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and sell for $1,039 and $1,459, respectively.

For those that want more information on the video controllers themselves, both the AMD Radeon HD 6970 and Radeon HD 6950 are described in detail here.
