Advanced Micro Devices has made some changes to its price list, with new prices for certain Accelerated Processing Units and even adding new chip.

As this report by CPU World will corroborate, there is a new Athlon chip in the list, called Athlon II X2 280.

A dual-core with 2 MB L2 cache and 3.6 GHz clock speed, it has a TDP of 65W and socket AM3 design. It is probably based on K10 architecture. Its price is of $49 / 36-49 Euro.

The chips that got their prices reduced are the AMD A6-3500 APU and the Athlon II X4 645 CPU.

The former has gone from $67 / 49-67 Euro to $59 / 43-59 Euro, while the latter is now priced at $77 / 56.44-77 Euro (it used to be $87 / 63.77-87 Euro).
