Retailer Newegg hasn't started accepting pre-orders, exactly, but its website does have reference pages for some Radeon R9 290X graphics cards, and one of them has revealed the price.

Technically, Newegg didn't release the price. However, the HTML code has the detail hidden in there if you know where to look.

Seems like the board carries a tag of $729.99, not including taxes. Going by Newegg's tendency to add $10-$30 / €10-€30 over manufacturer suggested tags, that leads us to a presumed MSRP of $699 / €699.

This is actually in line with the price I got a wind of late last month, even before AMD officially released the Hawaii. And it's definitely a sight better than the $1,145 / €840 from Sweden.

AMD Radeon R9 290X has 4 GB RAM and ships with a free pack of four games, as dictated by the Never Settle program.
