It looks like the availability date keeps getting moved up

I surmised that all new AMD graphics cards would come out on October 15, because that's, supposedly, when the Radeon R9 290X would start selling, but that isn't the case after all.

In fact, according to VideoCardz, there are three graphics adapters that will come out and sell as early as October 8, 2013.

They are Radeon R9 280X, Radeon R9 270X, and Radeon R7 260X.

I suppose that means that AMD wants to sell its sub-$300/€300 series earlier than the $699 Radeon R9 290X.

Well, assuming that really turns out to be the price of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan defeater.

AMD's various partners should release custom-designed boards based on the Radeon R9 280X, R9 270X and R7 260X immediately after AMD itself makes the announcement, maybe even sooner if they are based in a country where the new day dawns before it does in California.
