There is just one prototype about to be revealed, but it should be enough

We've been hearing rumors about a reference dual-GPU video card from Advanced Micro Devices for weeks, and now we may have the confirmation.

Hardware.info may have focused on the AMD Radeon HD 7790 in its latest leak, but it also said that, during its CeBIT conference, AMD mentioned that a prototype dual-GPU Radeon HD 7990 was ready.

We suppose there is a high chance for the product to make its appearance at the same time as the Richland accelerated processing unit. Which is to say any day now.

Either that or the company will keep it back for a few days or weeks.

According to previous reports, the Malta will have a clock speed of 1GHz+. Its cooler will be an AMD standard issue, but there already are Waterblocks to buy and replace it with.
