After releasing the Catalyst 13.5 beta 2 version for desktop cards, AMD turned its attention to the notebook series and has outed a new beta version of the Mobility Catalyst graphics driver, namely the 13.5 beta 3 version.

The newly released package expands the compatibility list by adding support for the AMD Radeon HD8000M series graphics cards, and might also improve the overall performance of the ingame experience.

Furthermore, it’s compatible with both 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, and 8 operating systems.

Because it’s a beta version, AMD highlights that the driver is provided “AS IS,” and under its EULA terms and conditions, and also that the Catalyst 13.4 must be uninstalled before choosing the latest version.

In addition, the graphics producer doesn’t take credit for any kind of related damage, but to make future versions more stable, the 13.5 beta 3 includes an Issue Reporting Form that provides feedback for AMD.
