Yesterday (March 04, 2013) we learned about the A4-1200 from AMD's own Tablets with AMD Accelerated Processors page, and today we find out that there is a second chip on the way.
For a while, the general idea was that AMD would release a single accelerated processing unit for tablets.
Now, though, we find that there are two, according to supply chain sources cited by Digitimes.
In addition to the dual-core A4-1200 mentioned above (with integrated HD 8180 GPU), there will be an A6-1450.
Obviously stronger than the other one, the A6-1450 has four x86 cores and built-in Radeon HD 8280 GPU.
Both chips will be showcased during Computex 2013, in Taipei, Taiwan, in June. The Turbo Dock technology, which has already been demonstrated on a reference tablet, will be out by then too.
