Swiss-managed cooling company Gelid has just announced the new ICY VISION-A video card cooler on its official website. This is an AMD-exclusive solution especially designed to fit AMD’s Tahiti reference cards.

The new ICY VISION-A video card cooler has five heatpipes in an original configuration that lead the heat away from the GPU and take it to the 85 high-quality aluminum cooling fins.

The fins are cooled by two 92-millimeter fans that have UV reactive coating so that they glow in the dark when ultraviolet light hits them.

The eleven S-shaped fan blades are said to be generating 20 percent more airflow than the regular cooling fans.

The cooler base is completely made out of copper as can be seen from the pictures.

The cooler is backed by a 5-year warranty and is priced at $55. That’s about €45 for the European buyers.
