Earlier today, AMD has announced the introduction of its first two desktop Llano APUs, but, as everybody surely knows, these will be accompanied by a few other models in the not-so-distant future and a recently uncovered roadmap has revealed the approximate launch dates of theses upcoming chips.

The roadmap was found in a marketing document released by MSI which is entitled "MSI A75-Series Mainboards" and is available for download on the company's website.

Judging by the information provided by this roadmap, the rest of the A-Series accelerated processing units are expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year, while the entry-level E2-2300 won't arrive until Q4 hits.

As far as the specifications of the APUs are concerned, the MSI document doesn't seem to hold any major surprises and all the three A-Series chips will feature the same 65W TDP.

Making our way from top to bottom, the second most powerful AMD desktop APU to be released, the A8-3800, features four processing cores with a base frequency of 2.4GHz, which can be increased to 2.7GHz depending on the workloads placed on the cores.

The chip will be accompanied by the same Radeon HD 6550D on-die GPU as that found in the A8-3850, which includes 400 streaming processors clocked at 600MHz.

Slightly below the A8-3800 stands the A6-3600, which also includes four processing cores with Turbo Boost support, but the core's operating frequency can range from 2.1 to 2.4GHz, while the HD 6530 integrated graphics sports 320 shaders clocked at 433MHz.

Finally, the last A-Series APU expected in Q3 is the dual-core A4-3400 which lacks support for Turbo Boost, but comes with a base frequency of 2.7GHz as well as with a Radeon HD 6410D on-die GPU. This includes 120 shader processors running at 600MHz.

Earlier today, AMD made official the A8-3850 and A6-3650 desktop Llano APUs which will become available starting July 3 at a recommended retail price of $135 and $115, respectively. (via CPU-World)
