The recently released Catalyst 13.1 from AMD resolved the issues of AMD’s new graphics adapters, but did not include the Radeon HD 2000, 3000 and 4000 series cards in the support list. The Catalyst 13.1 Legacy will set things right.

According to the changelog, the 13.1 Legacy driver does not intend to boost performance or add new features, but resolves specific application issues and adds critical updates.

It offers support for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, for both 32 bit and 64 bit architecture.

This package includes version 8.97.100.7 of the AMD display driver, 10.0.937.2 OpenCL driver and 2012.1116.1514.27190 of the Catalyst Control Center.

If you are running Windows XP, you should know that this release does not include the OpenCL driver and the Catalyst Control center version is 2012.1116.1444.26409.
