AMD Catalyst Application Profiles 11.12 CAP 3 Surfaces

Here we go, the new Application Profiles utility for the AMD Catalyst 11.12 display driver is available as of now.

The new CAP reaches revision 3 and brings profiles for new gaming titles, and generic performance enhancements. The CrossFire experience is improved in Star Wars: The Old Republic, while single GPU and CrossFire for Prototype 2 also receive better specs. The bushes, terrain, and shadow flashing issue in Need for Speed: The Run have also been fixed, as AMD says.

Insane 2 and Syndicate performance under CrossFire is improved, and DOTA 2 receives CrossFire support as you install CAP 3. Finally, the reported image quality issues in Costume Quest seem to be a thing of the past with the AMD Catalyst Application Profiles 11.12 CAP 3.

The CrossFireX profiles come as usual in the separate executable file, to give users total control over their setup preferences. Now, it's expected that our friend Asder00 will soon release his own version of the CAP 3, much to the gamers' pleasure.
