The new release is set to improve graphics in Crysis 3 Multiplayer beta

The new beta release from AMD aims to improve performance in the Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta by up to 50% when 4x and 8x MSAA are enabled.

This update includes all of the fixes found in the previous versions including the 15% boost in high MSAA (Multisample anti-aliasing), Devil May Cry 50% improvement for single GPU cards, and the texture flickering seen in DirectX9.0c applications.

If you're not familiar with MSAA, think of it as a compromise between good-looking textures or models and framerate.

Multisampling anti-aliasing smoothens the edges of the triangles used to create the actual pixels. Doing so, the final graphics experience becomes more detailed and “jaggy” edges disappear.

The 13.2 beta 4 is targeted at the Radeon HD 7900 / 7800 / 7700 / 6000 / 5000 series desktop cards and HD 7000M / 6000M / 5000 Mobility adapters.   We now leave you with the download link, so you can stay “updated one minute ago.”
