14 DAY TRIAL // As previously announced, AMD releases the 12.2 Catalyst driver with some delay in early March instead of the initially expected February issue month.
This delay was most likely caused by the extensive work involved with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview drivers. Nevertheless, AMD already had the pre-certified version of the 12.2 drivers up for grabs and claimed that the only thing missing was Microsoft's official seal of approval.
The Catalyst 12.2 brings support for Radeon HD 7900 and HD 7700 series graphic cards, but only under Windows Vista and 7, both 32 and 64-bit editions, with a perspective XP support coming in release 12.4.
