Good news for the AMD fans as we can now offer you the latest 12.1 preview driver for download, loaded with a lot of nifty stuff as a bonus.
To be blunt, we're talking about the new OpenGL version included in the preview release, now reaching 6.14.10.0887 and the AMD APP SDK version 2.6.
We're still expecting more new versions from AMD before the end of the year, as it looks like the guys there have started to like issuing way more than the 1 driver a month of yesteryear.
Well, developers can get their hands on the AMD Catalyst 12.1 Preview + OpenCL 1.2 package from Softpedia, free or charge and free of malware, as always.
Mark Ireton, product manager for Compute Solutions at AMD, has mentioned on an AMD blog that the OpenCL will be updated on a more frequent basis and developers should look out for newer versions more often than they were used to.
