Given the fact that CES 2011 is just around the corner, we're already starting to see more and more leaks of products that will make their official debut on the respective occasion become hit the web, the latest we've come across being a video depicting some live handling of MSI's U270 netbook, powered by the AMD Brazos platform.

According to TCMagazine, the respective video was shot during a recent show in Taiwan, where the company wanted to showcase some of the new products that they plan to unveil at CES 2011, set to start next week in Las Vegas, USA.

And, among other things (which we'll be sure to talk about once MSI officially announces them during CES time), the company also provided some info on their forthcoming Wind U270 12-inch notebook (although we believe a netbook might be a better name for it), that will apparently be powered by AMD's Brazos platform.

The U270 from MSI weighs just around 1.3kg, is less than an inch thick and has a chiclet keyboard, a 1.6 GHz Zacate accelerated processing unit (the E-350 to be exact).

Additional hardware include up to 4GB of RAM, a 320/500GB hard drive, integrated graphics (the DirectX 11-supporting Radeon HD 6310), and SD card slot, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, as well as an USB 3.0 port, which is quite impressive, given the fact that, after all, we're talking about a fairly low-power portable computing solution.

MSI's laptop also makes use of the ECO power-saving technology, which, coupled with the rather impressive power-saving capabilities provided by the Brazos platform, should make for a device offering quite an impressive functioning life.

It's interesting to note that the Brazos platform seems to gain more and more traction, with an increasing number of ultra-portables featuring this APU being tipped before CES, and we're actually quite sure that we'll see even more designs make an official appearance during the Las Vegas trade show.
