Over the past several months there’s been news after news of apps created specifically for the brand-new Google Glass, despite there being so few users of the device.

And from this list of apps that have been built specifically for it, a game was missing. Well, up until now, that is.

Advanced Mobile Applications, a sister company to Ubisoft, Gameloft and Guillemot Corporation, has taken the time to create several Google Glass apps, but perhaps the most admirable one is the game.

Of course, it isn’t as complicated and complex as other apps signed by AMA, but it’s a first step towards a whole new category of Glass apps that few people believed possible.

The goal of “Escape” is to clear the levels by jumping from stone to stone by using the swiping gestures. There’s no going back, meaning that you have to start over if you get stuck, which is something you can easily do by lightly tapping the touch area.

The game is still a bit rough around the edges, but it’s a work in progress that’s certainly paying off. By the time people will actually get to play it, it will certainly be in tip-top shape. Furthermore, voice control is also going to be available for the game, which should make things a bit easier for those who want a hands-free experience.

The Romanian developer team of Advanced Mobile Applications has also been working on several other tools for the device.

One, called Time Travel, enables users to go to certain places and view heritage locations the way they used to be. For instance, if you wear the Glass on a trip and you look at an old building, the app helps users travel back in time by displaying pictures with the way the location looked over the ages. Of course, this will be a particularly interesting tool for history buffs.

So far, the app is only compatible with a few locations, but it has a lot of room to grow in time.

Another tool the AMA built for Google Glass is in partnership with Subceana and falls in the augmented reality category. The tool can transform pictures of animals into 3D designs, effectively bringing in a bit of magic into Google Glass.

This seems to be only the beginning for the AMA team when it comes to Google Glass tools and more are sure to come in the near future.

AMA is a developer that has dozens of apps. On Google Play alone, the apps have raked in up to 12 million downloads and 100,000 5-star ratings.
