The first beta for AIMP 3.20 has rolled out with new features aboard as well as some changes. Among them, there is the possibility to view embedded Cover Art in original resolution and equalizer presets are now stored to the separate file on disk.

The components that have undergone modifications range from the sound engine and audio converter to the schedule, audio library and plugins.

In the case of sound engine, the developer improved the algorithm of input file caching, as access to the disk is now less frequent. On the same note, the maximum size of cache for input file has been increased to 250MB.

Audio Converter can now shut the computer down after the conversion operation completes, it can use the console encoders and it can encode audio to MusePack format.
