14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most pleasant surprises at the Academy of Country Music Awards 2014, held last night at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas, was the duet of country music darlings Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who performed “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s” together.
You can see their performance in full in the video below. Faith doesn’t come in until halfway through the song, and is welcomed with loud cheering and applause by the audience. They also shared a kiss at the end of the performance.
Tim was nominated for 4 awards (Album of the Year, Single Record of the Year, Video of the Year, and Vocal Event of the Year) but got to go home with just one, the award for Video of the Year for “Highway Don’t Care” (Feat. Taylor Swift and Keith Urban).
Earlier in the evening, Tim and Faith walked the red carpet together and, according to countless reports, looked as in love as ever. The two have been married for 18 years and, for the last couple or so, have been plagued by rumors saying they were over.
They denied all talk of a breakup last November but some of it still persists, especially in the blogosphere.
