14 DAY TRIAL // ABC has pulled the plug on its “hybrid” reality series Bachelor Pad at least for the summer of 2013. The series, which pits winners from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette against each other in a race for love and money, is officially on hiatus.
So, if you had plans of seeing it this summer, now’s the time to think of something else to occupy your time.
For 2013 at least, Bachelor Pad is off, so says franchise creator Mike Fleiss on Twitter.
“when is the next Bachelor Pad gonna be?” someone asked Fleiss on Twitter. The response was, “Not happening this summer...,” without offering any other details.
The first two seasons of Bachelor Pad brought ABC pretty decent ratings, though nothing out of the ordinary. It is believed that the decision to pull it off the air might be only a temporary one.
