The game is a mix between Carrie, Chuckie and Smokey the Bear

The last game released by Artificial Mind and Movement was an over-the-top, mercenary-revenge action title entitled Wet. Filled with gratuitous violence and foul language, the title didn't really manage to stand out with anything, but wasn't a disaster either. A2M, as it's better know, is now working on another Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 action game, but this one, while still violent, focuses more on psychological trauma than on the physical type. The studio has just unveiled its Naughty Bear project and, from what we can tell, it's going to be a mix of uncontrollable outbursts of laughter and sanity-doubting moments.

A2M was kind enough to show GameSpot a pre-alpha of the game and, by its accounts, it is as disturbing as it is hilarious. The protagonist's “raison d'etre” is vengeance, and it seems like there were always a few screws loosened up in that fluff-stuffed head of his, so this is more of a circular, unavoidable evolution of the scenario. All the bears in the forest have been invited to the birthday party, except for one, Naughty Bear. The insult is more than this Chuckie-like teddy-bear is willing to take, so he decides that going on rampage and killing everyone is the proper retribution.

Players will take control of Naughty and, in a Carrie-like fit, they'll have a chance to settle the score with all the other bears. The game is an open-world one that will have them complete certain missions, but collecting points and the gameplay itself are the true motivations behind it. One's goal is to exact revenge, but, while they can beat the stuffing out of their fellow bears, literally, there are better ways to go about it, since physiological warfare has proven to be even more frightening.

Bashing a stuffed bear in the face with a bat full of hate is a great way to vent out, but building up the moment of aggression by terrifying him first will earn you more points. Tearing him apart and ripping out his stuffing in front of other bears will earn you even more points and, if you manage to make the horror intense enough and push some of the bears into suicide, then that's even better. The game should be ready by June, so, until then, we just need to build up on our frustration and picture some faces to stitch on those of the bears we will be bashing.
