This is still the easiest way to shop in an Apple Store. You can browse through the products, choose the one you like, customize it, choose the color and the quantity and place the order. You have the option of shipping it right to your door step or have it ready for you in a brick and mortar Apple Store. The latter is easier because you do not have to wait or pay for additional shipping. You can even find a store near you.
The new version of the app presents some improvements. First of all, you will notice the new icon. Then you will be able to start shopping on one device and finish the operation on another, on a Mac or a PC. Just login into your account and you will see your cart.
The Apple Store app is not only about shopping. You can check out upcoming events at the shops. The navigation of the app has been changed a bit and if you are on iPad, you can make reservations for One to One sessions.
