Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson could soon join their forces, or better said their voices into a new project. The two divas could unite on a collaborative effort if Janet's boyfriend/husband Jermaine Dupri finally decides this. Working with the two music beauties, Dupri could be the one to create an unforgettable duo that would surely draw everyone's attention.

Janet is now trying hard to finish working on her next album, produced by no one else but Dupri, who also created alchemy with Mariah's "Emancipation of Mimi". The talented Janet is putting the finishing touches on her album, so that she can focus on a new project… maybe a Mariah one!

Jermaine said that Mariah and Janet recording together would be spectacular: "That's been on my mind for a couple weeks now... The hardest part is figuring out a song that fits both of them, because you have two different styles of artists, and the thing when you're dealing with divas is you don't want to overshadow either one, so if you were to do a song for them, it would have to work where both of them would feel they were on the same pedestal, or
else someone's gonna have a problem."
