Losing Weight with World of Warcraft

Did you ever imagine that you could lose weight just by playing a computer game? Well, know that this is possible. A World of Warcraft fan managed
to do so, and lost 41 lbs in just 90 days.

This story comes via Joystiq, as they report the ordeal of that slightly overweight, WoW enthusiast, Greg. Supposedly, he made himself a hybrid workout apparatus, combining his exercise bike and his computer.

You don't need to starve yourself to death to lose some weight. Take the example of Greg, who found the perfect ingredients to his diet. He replaced the display of his exercise bike with a keyboard while hooking up a XPS Gen 2 laptop to a 46 inch LCD hanged in front of the bike. The laptop was used to power World of Warcraft and the LCD was meant to distract him in order for him to exercise. He followed this strict regime for some 90 days, along with other restrictions, and managed to lose 41 lbs.

Greg revealed that the bike exercises were not enough and told that he was also following a low calorie diet and lifting weights. But, finally, he confessed that he could not have lost that kind of weight without World of Warcraft.
