Looks like Santa has ordered his Sony helpers to bring something special for the PSP this year. They have complied as a new LocoRoco level will be made available for free download this Christmas.

The ones responsible for this are the guys over at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, as they will release, starting with December 11, this LocoRoco special offer. If you are a PSP owner and a LocoRoco fan, start marking the days in the calendar until December 11, and then go to the download section of yourspsp.com and get this new free content.

This new level will be in tone with the Christmas Holidays, namely, it will be covered in snow and some specific Xmas characters will be included. You will also be able to enjoy some new Christmas carols in the true LocoRoco way.

Music is a large part of this handled game, as its developers devised a whole new fictional language especially for LocoRoco. There are different versions of LocoRoco available, depending on the region you are living in. If you live in the US, consider yourself LocoRocowise, as the US version of the game includes two levels not found in Japanese, Korean or European versions.

This game brings something new to the table, as players have to use the environment in order to maneuver those vivid colored jelly-like characters. The game is set on an alien planet, where the LocoRoco and their friends, the Mui Mui, are living happily until the evil Moja Troop decides to invade them. Players are required to play the role of the planet, and to defeat the Moja Troop invaders.
