The owner says the Apple MacBook likes to write messages on its own, sometimes goes the extra mile and levitates

A 2007 white Apple MacBook is now up for sale on eBay. The problem with it: its owner insists that the darn machinery is haunted. More precisely, he claims that it is “very haunted.” No, really, the guy selling this Apple MacBook seems convinced that the computer is possessed.

Even so, it looks like some guys and gals are actually considering buying it. In fact, the current bid stands at an impressive $3,600 (nearly €3,200). Apparently, some people don't have a problem with the idea of sharing a computer with a restless spirit.

How the Apple MacBook ended up being haunted

The owner suspects that the spirit (maybe even spirits) now haunting his Apple McBook entered the machinery one night when he accidentally left it in a graveyard next to an abandoned mental hospital. Because such is life that things like this sometimes happen.

Just in case anyone might think him a complete nutcase, the seller further explains that he is an amateur sketch artist and that, on the night that he mistakenly left his beloved computer in the graveyard, he merely retreated to this creepy place hoping to get some drawing done.

When he returned the next day, the computer was still alive and kicking. It was in the same place where its owner had left it and it was playing Beethoven. The man simply picked it up and returned home with it. He had no idea that, during the nighttime, it had come to be possessed.

What Apple MacBooks do when they are haunted

Apparently, now that it is haunted, this 2007 white Apple MacBook likes to write messages all on its own. As if this weren't spooky enough, its owner says that, every once in a while, the computer decides to spice up its already freaky performances and begins to levitate.

“The way he communicates with us is by grasping a pen between the keyboard and monitor and writing on pieces of printer paper from our home office,” the seller explains. “To make matters spookier, I occasionally saw the computer levitating,” he adds.

What's more, the seller claims that the computer changes its own background photo, likes to play scary music and sometimes even opens and shuts as if trying to speak. Mind you, it even enjoys moving furniture around the house. One time, it played the housewife and vacuumed.

Truth be told, it's pretty obvious that whoever is saying that this Apple McBook is haunted does not really mean it. It's all just a brilliant way to get people's attention and find a buyer.

So, just in case some of you might be considering buying it, spooky spirit inside it and all, here's what you should know: it comes with a 2Ghz processor and 4GB of RAM, and runs OSX 10.6.8. True, it has some scratches, but let's hope the ghost inside it will be able to help it heal.
