Only few other TV series have remained still funny and enjoyable 20 years after the moment they started as The A-Team did. And Mr. T is still one pop-culture icon. So why not give him his own TV show? He's smarter and funnier than Hulk Hogan, he's more articulate than the Newlyweds and yes, he's bigger than any American Idol contestant.
So the former A-Team member will have one reality show of his own. The TV Land network announced Tuesday that it will start "I Pity the Fool," a series where "The A-Team" star travels across the country, giving a helping hand, dispensing inspiration and advice.
As he declared in an interview: "The 't' stands for talking. I'm going to talk it up. It's what I've been doing all my life," he also added.
"My show ain't no 'Dr. Phil,' with people sitting around crying. You're a fool - that's what's wrong with you. You're a fool if you don't take my advice."
TV Land Senior Vice President Sal Maniaci described the show as heartwarming and helpful for every viewer: "He really gets in there and does some good, dolling out advice T-style."
The show is to premiere in October and the current reality-show generalized trend in regards of most popular TV shows guarantees it will certainly get some attention and not only by A-Team nostalgics.
