It has four comically huge wheels and everything

Some cars may have ludicrously huge wheels, but it's those very same vehicles that do best off the road, especially if their struts and suspensions are flexible enough.

Someday, 3D printing technology could be used to create those things whole, in one go. Or at least the main chassis. As it is, everything has to be done from parts, and definitely not in that size.

However, toys are another matter. In fact, a designer by the name of Richard Swalberg just made a toy rock crawler that may very well blow your mind.

You can see it in the video embedded below. The little car has four wheels each more or less larger than the main cabin itself. One can only wonder how huge they would be in real life. Around the size of those of a tractor maybe. The rear ones.

The 3D printed Rock Crawler was inspired by buggies Swalberg saw in Moab, Utah, and has a very, very flexible suspension system. Quite impressive considering that the car was printed in a single go, no interruptions.

That's right, that lego-looking thing was 3D printed from a single, continuous string of filament, though the nozzle may have paused from time to time while moving around.
