Do you have geek friends? The answer is probably "yes," since the ranks of computer geeks are constantly growing around the world; and if you plan to make a present to one of these fellows of yours, what could be better than a gadget to go with his tastes? The Keyboard Pen is pretty much useless if you think about something other than writing, but it sure looks like a very nifty piece of high-tech gadgetry.
In fact, you're looking at a very common writing tool, a pen like absolutely any other on the planet, with no strange geeky super-powers to make you write very fast or create genius literature.
Yet, this pen comes with something that makes it perfect for computer geeks: a special wrap around it with a QWERTY design, meant to somehow compensate for the absence of a computer. Now, it's rather unsure whether this pen could be a remedy for the lack of a computer, but it most likely could ease up the depression a bit.
Of course, such a pen could be used by non-geek individuals also, because it looks quite fun; and being an editor (thus having to deal with the keyboard on a regular basis) could go very well with such an assertive symbol, especially if you're the kind of guy who likes his/her job and who is rather proud to show it. Despite the fact that, at first glance, one would think that the keyboard actually works, it is actually just an illusion: it's only a plastic wrap that does absolutely nothing.
Now, if said keyboard were functional, and, even more, able to hook up with a computer, via Bluetooth let's say, this gadget could mean serious fun and could even be worthy of its price; but spending
$62 on an ordinary pen with some QWERTY design (and by all means, no Swarowski bling) is a bit out of line. Nevertheless, if you like it, you can get it
here.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
