Here's a Chinese portable media player, which apparently doesn't copy any hot device of the same kind. The PF500 PMP from Sysbay International is trying harder to prove that there is even more room for class in the electronics industry.

In this regard, the company has come out with a design line, which kind of reminds me of a romantic collection Nokia has introduced to a mobile communication series a while ago. Therefore, there is not so much originality when it comes to those ruby vines to the corners of the screen's border. So, I am just wondering, where are those ultimate features, those futuristic design patterns?

However, appearance only is for superficial people, so let's see what this baby can actually do. Regarding its capacities, the portable device can deal with the most common file formats on the market, such as AVI at 352 x 299 pixels resolution, MPEG-4, Xvid and DviX for the video content. Audio files are supported in MP3, WAV and WMA formats.

On the outside, the simple shape and the unusual corner design is complemented with a 7 inch TFT screen, with a resolution of about 480 x 234 pixels, capable of displaying in 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio. This should be great for the photo slide show it can perform, exclusively in JPEG and BMP formats.

Moreover, to make sure sharing of the media content is also possible, the manufactures have added an integrated speaker system, but also an AV-out jack and a USB 2.0 port with OTG capability. The USB OTG connection port is to facilitate direct-transfer files from memory card to PC and also vice versa. The extra specs are said to include a calendar and time in idle mode.

Too bad there are no pricing and availability details out yet! As for the player's internal memory capacity, this one is said to be of only 2GB capacity, but then again, who needs the brain, when first we concentrate on the looks.
