It would seem that the script for the latest Bourne movie, the sequel to “The Bourne Legacy” isn't quite done yet, because it's been announced that there is a new writer assigned to the project. The first draft was written by Anthony Peckham but now Andrew Baldwin has been taped to see it through.

Peckham is known for his previous work on other famous movies such as “Invictus” and “Sherlock Holmes” and he only wrote the first draft of the script. His work will be continued by Andrew Baldwin who has in his resume movies such as the “Logan's Run” remake and “Bastille Day.”

As you may know, Jeremy Renner is tapped to return in the title role of Aaron Cross, under the direction of Justin Lin. This is all fine and well, but what fans really are looking forward to is the possible return of Matt Damon in the role of the amnesic spy.

Damon has just revealed this week in an interview that he's actually open to do a sequel but only if the story is good and Paul Greengrass is directing. Since there is no reply from the director and no talk of a script being in the works, all we can do at this point is to wait for Renner's movie to come out.

This is supposed to happen on August 14, 2015, and by then we should also get a working title for the production that has so far been called “Bourne 5” in the media.
