As weird or funny as it may seem, we've just listed yet another version of the Intel Solid-State Driver Toolbox. Version 3.0.5 replaces 3.0.4 released last week and brings a small language-related fix.

It looks like the previous version was plagued by incorrect display behavior for some multi-language files, so Intel decided to up the ante and prepare a new release. As for the rest, the 3.0.5 version retains all the features of its predecessor, bringing new names on the supported SSD list. For more comprehensive info please check our previous Intel SSD Toolbox related blog.

Do remember that you should back up all the data on your SSDs prior to making any changes to the firmware you're currently running, just to remain on the safe side. The Intel SSD Toolbox 3.0.5 still allows you to run diagnostic tests on the supported drives, estimate remaining life and get drive health data, as well as fine-tune the overall performance for your storage.

You can download the Intel SSD Toolbox 3.0.5 as of now.
