Climax has bolstered its Racing Studio management team with the appointment of Roger Carpenter as Game Director. An industry veteran of eight years standing, Roger has been brought in to lend his considerable experience and talent to the studio as it continues to work on numerous high profile games.

Roger's first duty in his new role is to head the development of a major racing franchise, a task he's clearly relishing. "Climax has several excellent games in development and I'm really looking forward to getting involved", he admitted. "I've
been hugely impressed with what I've already seen: the company has built some amazing technology that the talented development teams here are using to create groundbreaking games."

Roger joins the company coming from THQ, where he worked as a Project Management Director on prominent racing titles including MotoGP 3, MotoGP 2 and Juiced. His employment track record also includes work at Acclaim and Hasbro Interactive, where he produced a number of bestsellers including Burnout, and ATV Quad Power Racing 2.

Roger's wealth of experience producing critically acclaimed titles makes him an invaluable addition to Climax's burgeoning Racing Studio. "Roger's CV makes for impressive reading" admitted Climax's Tony Beckwith "and we're delighted he's joined the company. With the Racing Studio currently working on a number of major titles, the timing of his arrival is perfect too. Everyone here will benefit from his passion, commitment and experience, and I know he's going to prove a fantastic asset to the company."
