Softpedia reaffirms its belief that Mac OS X 10.6.5 will arrive this week, following yet another seed on behalf of Apple, which instructs developers to focus their testing efforts on 3D Graphics, Printing, QuickTime, Time Machine, and USB Devices, in the latest beta build - Mac OS X 10.6.5 10H568.

People familiar with the software reportedly indicate that this latest version contains no known issues, and the exact same set of focus areas as the last several builds. These are 3D Graphics, Printing, QuickTime, Time Machine, and USB Devices, according to the seed notes.

It seems Apple is pushing daily builds onto developers with Friday’s build 10H568 being exactly five increments away from Monday’s 10H563 developer release.

In addition to rapid seeding successions, Mac OS X 10.6.5 builds appear to be bug free, as far as Apple’s testers can tell, meaning development is coming along nicely.

Beginning last month, Apple has been offering access to Mac OS X 10.6.5 beta builds to registered iOS developers. Arriving alongside iOS 4.2 betas, the 10.6.5 updates are required for compatibility with the upcoming AirPrint feature in iOS 4.2.

Since the public release is widely expected to occur before the November launch of iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Softpedia reaffirms its belief that Snow Leopard users will begin seeing the update appear in their Macs’ Software Updaters this week.

As noted in previous reports, though, accurately predicting the end of a development cycle at Apple is hard, therefore the software update may appear later through the month of November.

Apple is also actively developing Mac OS X Lion, the next-generation Mac OS from Cupertino, which delivers key new features like Launchpad - the home for Mac apps; Mission Control - dubbed by Apple “Mac command central”, and Full Screen view for applications.
