There are rumors that Sierra could try again to resurrect Larry.

Rumors started to be heard about a new game in the Leisure Suit Larry franchise - and it has nothing to do with the mobile version of the game. According to a listener, Artie Lange has declared, in a Howard Stern show, that he will record some lines for "a game called Leisure Suit Larry".

Debate started immediately and there are already people who claim to have "friends" at Sierra who know nothing about such a game being in development, or even planned. This is the thing with rumor - everybody has it's own version.

But, what everybody seems to agree on is this game's need to work again with Al Lowe, the original game writer. Again, regarding this, there are people who claim that they have already talked to him and he has no idea about a next "Leisure Suit Larry" game, either. It seems that no one except Artie Lange knows anything about it... and according to him, he will be paid the same amount somebody in the 20s makes in a year.

The Leisure Suit Larry franchise was one of the most popular point and click adventure games, and the first in the series that got to life back in 1987, and, until today, it is the only Sierra game that contains sexual themes and humor, along with some nudity. Some claim that this game's success is related to Al Lowe's writing skills, and therefore it explains why their latest game, Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude (made without Al Lowe) wasn't such a great success. And that was mostly because the point and click adventure turned into a series of mini games everybody got bored with, eventually.

We will see in the future if Artie Lange will be the "Big Al" character in the next Leisure Suit Larry game or not and, most important, we'll find out soon if this game will really exist. There is no actual proof yet, but we doubt anybody is against sexy girls and good humor in classic point and click adventure games, where everybody (except Larry) is satisfied.
