The Games on Demand system has really taken off and more and more titles are becoming part of the list. The Xbox Live users have been granted special access to some of the best games the console has ever seen, while the Xbox 360 owners can get their hands on titles like BioShock, Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise, Assassin's Creed or The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Since the project has been so successful, more and more titles will soon be added to the list on Microsoft's download service.

October has already seen some big names brought to the roster, when, just six days ago, Call of Duty 3 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 became part of the system. Both games were priced at $29.99. Tomorrow, another renowned title will become available as Rockstar Games will bring their best-selling product to the virtual table, Grand Theft Auto IV, the action adventure that even managed to catch the eye of Jack Thompson, the Nemesis of video game violence.

On October 20, Rockstar will return to Xbox Live with their Midnight Club Los Angeles street racer while Sega will bring Sonic Unleashed and Electronic Arts, Army of Two. They will also add the last entry of the month on October 27, with Visceral's Dead Space survival horror. Codemasters' Dirt will also be part of the Games on Demand pack that will end the month. One by one, these games have a huge reputation and are a serious page in gaming history, but together they are a unique sale.

The titles that have been lined up so far by Games on Demand have had a price range that started at $19.99 and reached a $29.99 roof. The upcoming ones haven't received an official price tag, but they should respect the same limitations that their predecessors did. Microsoft may not be thinking of the fans when it's milking these games and trying to squeeze some extra life out of them, but gamers should take advantage of this opportunity nevertheless.
