The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) has approved a new Pantech phone that runs on Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphones.

PN-820 is a stylish clamshell with an external antenna,
which will be released by Verizon for CDMA networks.

We can say that PN-820 is a "slim line" phone because it has a 0.9 inch thickness, just 0.3 more than Motorola's V3 RAZR (full dimensions are 3.55 x 1.8 x 0.9 inch).

It features a 262k color display, 1.3 megapixel digital camera and miniSD card slot. Some other features of the phone include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity and Windows Mobile 5.0. The PN-320 has no carrier branding on it, but the "Get it Now" line in the manual shows that it will probably come with Verizon Wireless.

So far, no pricing information has been made public for Pantech PN-820.
