After all these days when we talked and talked about the iPhone, Apple TV and other Macworld novelties, the time has come to
settle down a bit. One of the best ways to enjoy your iPod, apart from placing it into a nice docking station with amplified speakers and crank up the volume to the max, is to get some nice "clothes" for it.

The iPod is more than just a player, it’s a symbol of your personality, and that's why the accessories industry has good sales, because with the help of a personalized case, your iPod can become really yours, with a personal look that suits your taste and style.

Boomwave Products is one of those companies that understood this perfectly, and so their line of products manages to suit the needs of fanatic iPod users, without approaching the kitsch line. Their iPod cases maintain a delicate balance between stunning aesthetics and pragmatic functionality, being stylish and user friendly at the same time, and today I have to tell you about a product that just popped up in their portfolio: the Boomwave Podstar Bearaphim for 2G iPod nano.

As its name says, this is a case for the nanos from the second generation, and if you take a closer look at the attached picture, you'll figure out that we have a sequel to the previous Diablo series of "evil cases", but this time we don't talk about devils, since it's all about angels. How come?

Pretty weird, but the term "bearaphim" means "angelic bear" (bear + seraphim = bearaphim), and I must confess that - although it looks a bit silly to me - I really like this case. The Bearaphims are available in various colors with a different art on the front side, and have goofy-angled bear ears and little angel wings. Of course the click wheel is not left unprotected, so you also get a color mismatched protector included, but they are also available to be purchased separately.

So... what's the price of this funny case for your iPod? Well, I think that 15$ is not much at all, so if you're not going to a corporate meeting with your iPod nano inside this case, I am sure that the Boomwave Podstar Bearaphim will be a good companion for you!
