By: Catalin Bocanu, Web News Editor

If the "drag and drop" expression is familiar to you and you do not want to learn HTML or other programming language to build your website, it seems that various choices are possible. The most used tools
to visually create websites are WYSIWYG HTML editors.

This type of development software allows you to make web pages or templates with the help of a graphical user interface that provides the opportunity to select, drag and drop various page elements like images, text and more, without the need of HTML coding knowledge. Even in the case of a HTML visual editor, that should speed up and simplify your website development work, you still have to learn how to use a certain WYSIWYG application and maybe more HTML coding principles than you need to know.

At Roxer website, a new approach for website development is proposed. This online service which include free web hosting is addressed to beginners and allows anyone to create webpages of any level of design complexity only by using a web browser without the need of additional plugins or coding. In a few minutes you can make a personal web page, a company presentation website, an image gallery and more. You could even put your favorites YouTube videos anywhere on a webpage only using drag, drop and select actions.

After you sign up to the Roxer service, you can begin to construct a website by selecting a predefined template or a blank page with the help of a very friendly wizard. The basic concepts of web pages design using Roxer resides in so called "Boxes" which are elements like text, images or menus having the property of enhanced portability.

Any webpage can be edited live and you will be able to control any design elements properties, such as borders, transparency, rich text attributes, the movement of certain content in the same page or to another page using copy-paste. The possibilities of elements combination are endless. By employing your imagination, you can build a unique website with professional design effects without the need of third party tools or coding knowledge.

We hadn't thought of company presentations as one of the uses; it's a great idea. We'll need to add some configurable navigation buttons to help with this one.
There are a few more nifty ideas being developed. Stay tuned :)

Thanks for the post!
