A MySpace.com Prank Leads to the Apprehension of a Pedophile

Although the recent scandals have received overwhelming media attention, those who use sites like MySpace.com to seduce minors in order to have sexual intercourse have not been impressed.

The popular networking site was once again involved in a pedophilic incident, which had this time a happy ending.

A 48-year-old man of Fontana, 104 kilometers east of Los Angeles, was arrested by the local police after arranging a date with a 15-year-old girl.

The funny part of this story is that the man didn't know that behind the girl he thought he was seducing was a group of boys cheering up one of their friends who had just broken up with his girlfriend.

According to AP, after creating the profile, the 'girl' started to receive messages from a man, messages that soon contained sexual allusions. He even sent her a photo and arranged a date. The boys went to the park and called the police, who detained Michael Ramos.

The incident came after the arrest of a 22-year-old, who molested an 11-year-old girl in her room, while the parents were sleeping, and a 39-year-old man, who molested a 14-year-old teenager in his car. Both of them had seduced their victims on MySpace.com.

Another scandal involved a post in which a student was threatening one of his female colleagues.

It is assumed that the post contained the following phrase: "Who here in the [group name] wants to take a shotgun and blast her in the head over a thousand times?"
