How would you feel if you were driving, looking into the front mirror and in the same time shuffling tracks using the same mirror? It is not a dream. It is more like high-tech gadget-like reality.
The not-so-known Chinese maker Shining Elite created a rear-view mirror - wireless player for anyone's car, especially the gadget fans. This little mirror player enables you to receive calls and control volume without taking your eyes off the road, as it features player and phone buttons. All you have to do is power it from the 12VDC source or the lighter.
The VM-5602 also sports an SD memory card reader and several USB drives, an FM receiver as well as a Bluetooth capability. Therefore, you can tie up your favorite MP3 player using an additional input and just 'music it' in an instant. But the Bluetooth chapter is the best, as this mirror hidden player is able to play music on your Bluetooth-enabled cell phone and listen to it on the car stereo.
In the other corner we have the '80s good looking Apacer AU522 - a flash based MP3 player with a storage capacity of 2GB and 1GB MMCmicro card expansion, a bright two-color OLED display and a great black finish of the showcase that only looks 1980s, but works 2006.
"The AU522 has the style, functionality and storage capacity to be at home in the office or the commute, on the go while out with friends, exercising or traveling, or at school in the classroom or computer lab. The bold modern design of the AU522 makes an immediate fashion statement with its attractive white or orange accent design on black matt finish. The vivid, easy to read, two-color (yellow/blue) OLED interface makes the AU522 nice to use and enjoy, " said the company about its latest MP3 player.
If the AU522 is connected to a direct USB connector, the device instantly becomes a USB flash drive that does not need any extra cables, plus performs card reader tasks for transferring content to and from MMCmicro card devices.
Other full function features include dual earphone jacks, built-in FM tuner with FM recording, voice recording with built-in high sensitivity microphone and an A-B repeat function.
It's your turn to choose. What do you want? An almost weird gadget or a classic, but stylish, player looking '80s?
