Ice Cream Sandwich, the next flavor of Google's Android operating system, is almost here and there are great things to expect from it, starting with the fact that it will fit both the smaller screens of smartphones, as well as the larger ones on tablet PCs.
Various details on what
the OS will pack have emerged lately, and some new ones are now available, including a quick look at what the widgets for Gmail, Email and Calendar will be all about.
These are not yet available for download, and would not fit devices powered by older Android releases, but you can have a look at them courtesy of a series of shots that
Android Police has just published.
Unfortunately, while the photos enable us to make an idea of what the said widgets might look like when made available, they do not offer specific info on their capabilities, nor on other features of
the new platform iteration.
