14 DAY TRIAL // Now we know why Marlon Wayans was dissing on Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan, who shot a cameo together for “Scary Movie 5”: he too has a movie coming out in January and, not surprisingly at all, it’s also a horror spoof.
Called “A Haunted House,” it recently got a first trailer, which you can see embedded above.
From what I can see, it will spoof mostly “Paranormal Activity” (the first one, which was also the best) and “The Devil Inside,” which only looked awesome but was a major disappointment.
Even for those who are not fans of this kind of movies (spoofs, that is), this trailer might look promising in that it shows just how ridiculous some of the things shown in horror flicks would be in real life.
There’s also the fact that this is an R-rated comedy and the trailer is green band (read, “clean”) to consider. Perhaps the best stuff in the movie is not even in there.
“A Haunted House” is scheduled for release in January 2013.
