The number of services provided by Google is huge, the company developing more and more solutions every day. AdSense,
AdWords, Calendar, Docs & Spreadsheets, Reader, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Earth, Picasa, Base, Video Search and many others represent just a little part of the services the search giant provides.
Because the number of services is never enough and the employees are continuously looking to create new solutions and to improve the ones that already exist, it seems that Google aims to develop a new service that is meant to attract customers to the company and their solutions by registering domain names that will automatically include products created by the search giant.
Google will offer domain names registrations, following a partnership made with GoDaddy.com and eNom.com, only for 4 sufixes.com," ".net," ".biz" and ".info." The company will charge $10 per year for every domain that will include Google Apps For Your Domain and Google's Page Creator, a solution that was meant to help customers build a website with ease.
"Web sites that register their domains directly with Google for $10/year will automatically be setup to use Google Apps for Your Domain, which includes Google's Page Creator (for easily making a Web site), Calendar, Email, and IM.With this move, look for Google to tap more into the domain parking business using their Google AdSense for Domains product a bit more. I'd also imagine their Blogger product will integrate this announcement and allow you to easily setup a blog with your own domain for $10/year," Techcrunch said.
The websites and domains provided by Google will be able to work with multiple services such as mail, instant messaging or calendars, functions that can be implemented by any of Google's rivals, such as Yahoo or Microsoft.
