According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Albert Finney will play in Ridley Scott's „A Good Year", created after an adaptation of Peter Mayle's novel by Marc Klein, alongside Russell Crowe, playing Max Skinner.

The movie's story revolves around Skinner, a financier living in London. He leaves that world behind, when he inherits a vineyard in France. The owner of the vineyard is Max Skinner's uncle, Henry Skinner, played by Finney.

Until now, the leading female role, Finney's lost daughter, has not been announced. Shooting for A Good Year is set to start in September in Paris, France. The movie will be distributed by Fox.
