This week, the review-focused section of Softpedia Games is delivering long-form evaluations for titles including The Sims 4, the new life simulation title from Maxis which has some intriguing moments, The Golf Club, the Xbox One version of Diablo 3 – Ultimate Evil Edition, Shadowgate, Commando Jack and Train Fever.

On Monday, a new FIFA 15 video revealed the way Anfield and some Liverpool players are replicated in the football sim, Microsoft delivered a new beta firmware version for the Xbox One to all those interested, and a lot of details about the core gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Rogue were revealed.

On Tuesday, Maxis delivered a big day one patch for The Sims 4, which eliminated dates with the Grim Reaper, a new firmware version was also offered for the PlayStation 4 by Sony, and Minecraft received a major patch, labeled 1.8, called the Bountiful Update, with plenty of new content for gamers to explore.

On Wednesday, Electronic Arts announced that EA Access was delivering Need for Speed Rivals to subscribers for free, Samsung announced that it had a new Gear Virtual Reality solution created with the people at Oculus, and Bungie talked about its secret data center in Las Vegas which houses more than 100 engineers ready for the launch of the title.

The next day, on Thursday, EA Sports started to reveal the top fifty players that would be included in FIFA 15, a set of hotfixes were delivered for Diablo 3, which increase the rate of Legendary item drops, and the Xbox One was finally launched in Japan but had limited impact.

On Friday, Microsoft promoted the Xbox One version of Destiny via a fake and interesting fragrance site, a report talked about a delay for the PS4, PC and Xbox One versions of GTA V until spring, and World of Warcraft implemented the Robin Williams tribute character.

Finally, on Saturday, we talked about a new set of codes that unlock bonus content in Destiny and about the digital upgrade option offered for the game.
