It's been another rather busy week for the Games section of Softpedia as the flow of new titles seems ready to overpower even the most dedicated of gamers.

We have full reviews for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, the realism and multiplayer focused title from Tripwire Interactive, Driver: San Francisco, the racing game which relies on body jumping, and Nuclear Dawn, a shooter with real time elements from InterWave Studios.

We also have a Quick Look at FIFA 12 complete with footage form a multiplayer match and one for the beta stage of Battlefield 3.

We also have a Weekend Reading that talks about the recent trend of using the power of crowds of video games for research and an EndWeekGame piece that talks about how we plan to spend our gaming time.

And we have a selection of the news of the past week that seemed the most interesting in the long run.

Monday one of the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 talked about how commercial success is not something he worries about while the rival Battlefield 3 franchise, which is published by Electronic Arts, was revealed to be just as important for the company as FIFA.

Tuesday a fan site compiled all the racial abilities and most of the perks that will appear in the upcoming The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from Bethesda while another fan group revealed all the Achievements for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Wednesday Skyrim was again in the new as Bethesda talked about how the new game compares with fan favorites Oblivion and Morrowind while Dead Island, the zombie apocalypse open world game, was optioned for a movie by Lionsgate.

Thursday movies adapted from video games were again in the headlines as Naughty Dog talked about the Uncharted adaptation and how pleased they were with the new director.

Meanwhile BioWare and EA revealed the early access information for those who pre-ordered Star Wars: The Old Republic.

On Friday Gears of War 3 was revealed as having sold 3 million units in one week while Blizzard said that Titan would not be present at BlizzCon.
