As we are getting ready to step out of November and into the last month of the year things are starting to calm down a little on the video game front, with just three Softpedia reviews for last week, one for Need for Speed: The Run, the racing game from Electronic Arts and Black Box, one for Saint's Row: The Third and one for Captain America: Super Soldier on the 3DS, from SEGA.

We also have a Quick Look at Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and we continued to add two the Gamer Diaries series for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from Bethesda.

On Monday Valve revealed that the beta stage for the new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be launched on November 30 while Bethesda confirmed that it plans to deliver a full patch for Skyrim during the week after Thanksgiving.

Tuesday Electronic Arts and DICE launched a new patch for the PC version of Battlefield 3, making some changes to the multiplayer side of the game, while the designer of Bayonetta moved to the team working on Soul Calibur V to work on the look of guest characters.

Wednesday was dominated by Lara Croft, with the developers at Crystal Dynamics talking about the new look of the character, and by BioWare, with suggestions that the game they are working on might be a reboot of Command & Conquer.

Thursday Sony offered a full list of the PlayStation Vita video games that are currently in development and will be out after launch date while the developers at Rockstar talked about the new Last Man Standing mechanics for Max Payne 3.

Friday Epic Games launched the Booster Pack for Gears of War 3 while EA announced that PlayStation 3 players of Battlefield 3 will finally get their free Battlefield 1943.
