This week, the review team at Softpedia Games is delivering long-form evaluations for: Far Cry 4, the open world experience from Ubisoft that takes gamers to the Himalayas, This War of Mine, a superb war time-focused title which asks the gamer to focus on the plight of civilians, Grand Theft Auto V on the Xbox One, which introduces upgraded graphics and the new first-person mode, and Football Manager 2015, the new experience from Sports Interactive.

We also have an editorial about the world of gaming, one dealing with the impact that Assassin’s Creed Unity and its launch problems might have on Ubisoft.

The Gamer Diaries this week are focused on delivering in-depth looks at the mechanics of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the new big BioWare experience, This War of Mine, and Football Manager 2015.

At the same time, we deliver a Weekend Reading piece about how Dragon Age: Inquisition can create an interesting world using some familiar ideas.

The EndWeekGame piece explores how we plan to spend our free time, and we also have a selection of the most important pieces of news from the previous week to talk about.
